We have been using Jump Start Equi-Shine Vitamin/Mineral Supplement pellets 60 days prior to foaling and/0r breeding for many years on our whole herd at Rafter Bar D Morgans & Moriesians. Feeding Instructions
Pelleted form. Suggested feeding rate: Young growing – 4 to 6 ounces per day. Compromised/rescued individual – 8 ounces per day Mares: Breeding mares – 8 ounces per day 60 days prior to breeding and until confirmed in foal. Once confirmed in foal may switch over to the regular Equi-Shine Pellets, Equi-Shine Granular or Equi-Shine Ultimate. Pregnant mares – 8 ounces per day 60 days prior to foaling and continue until either 60 days post partum or confirmed back in foal. Older mares – 8 ounces per day through the entire pregnancy and until the foal has been weaned. Stallions: Breeding stallions – 8 ounces per day 60 days prior to the start of breeding season and continue through breeding season. Geriatric Horses – 4 ounces per day 4 ounce scoop enclosed.Related products
