Description
We have been using Equi-Shine Vitamin/Mineral Supplement granular for many years now on our whole herd at Rafter Bar D Morgans & Moriesians. We have found it’s an excellent way for our horses to get the vitamins and minerals they need without the extra calories for easy keepers. It’s perfect for our breeding stallion, mares and foals. We feed this supplement year round blended equal parts with loose salt in our salt boxes and offer it free choice for our horses. With such a big herd, it’s more economical to offer the granular supplement in the salt and give 2 oz. of Equi-Shine Pellets per day per horse instead of 4 oz. Sue & Derrick Olson ~ Rafter Bar D

Granular form. Suggested feeding rate based on class of horse: Birth to Weanling 1 to 1.5 ounces per day Weanling to Yearling 2 ounces per day Yearling to training 3 ounces per day During training 4 ounces per day Idle (Maintenance/Non-training) 2 ounces per day Mares Gestation 4 ounces per day Lactation 4 ounces per day Open Mares 2 ounces per day Stallions Breeding Season 4 ounces per day Idle (Maintenance/Non-Breeding) 2 ounces per day For Miniature Horses, feed at 25% of appropriate rate.
