From chemical wormers, to the herbicides and insecticides used in the growing of horse feed and forage, to vaccinations and fly spray, we ask a lot of our horses livers. This makes Liver Support for Horses very important, to aid the liver in functioning at its optimal capacity. This product may be beneficial in:

Active Ingredients:

Barberry: Liver tonic, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal.

Burdock: A great tissue cleanser and remover of toxins (blood purifier), anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor.

Cascara: Mild laxative, increases intestinal motility, good for the gallbladder.

Chamomile: Used for its ability to purge the liver of toxins.

Dandelion: Works with the liver and gallbladder as a blood cleanser.

Eleuthero: Supports the natural detoxification processes of the liver.

Licorice: As a catalyst for the other herbs and as a tonic and antibacterial.

Milk Thistle: Used to rebuild liver cells, reducing liver damage and removing toxins from the body that are processed through the liver.

Turmeric: Contains curcumin that may also be able to prevent liver disease and help it dispel toxins from the body.

Yerba Santa: Used for allergies and congestion.

Oregon Grape: Stimulates liver function and cleanses the blood.

Parsley: A high source of flavonoids and antioxidants.

Rose Hips: Great source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants such as calcium, iron, potassium, sodium, sulfur, Vitamins A, B-complex, C, D and E.

Yellow Dock: Blood cleanser and liver detoxifying. Antioxidant. High in iron and also contains manganese, Vitamins A and C.

Recommended Use: 1 level scoop per day for 1000-1200 lb horse. There are approximately 60 scoops per bag.
