The thyroid gland, located at the base of the neck and just above the collar bone, is shaped like a butterfly. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, this gland is known as the Master gland due to its influence on the body's overall function through hormone production.
Thyroid hormones have an impact on the cardiovascular system, including heart rate. These hormones are vital for growth, regulating the body's Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), promoting energy levels, increasing oxygen utilization in the body, promoting a positive mood, and affecting carbohydrate metabolism.
This supplement contains natural iodine sources to support and maintain healthy thyroid function. Iodine is a necessary element for the production of thyroid hormone, and since our bodies do not produce it naturally, it must be obtained through our diet. This formula includes Ashwagandha and Passionflower, which promote emotional and nervous wellbeing. Additionally, Cayenne is included to enhance digestion and absorption.
