Description

Para-Rid Internal Cleanse

Many herbalists estimate that 80% to 90% of the population is plagued by intestinal dwellers.
It is important to periodically cleanse your body, and as a liquid extract, this combination is superior. Being up to 75% more effective than encapsulated herbs or tablets, it’s a perfect cleanse for the whole family.

Science now confirms, when we taste something bitter, neurotransmitters are released into the nervous tissue fiber sending signals to the brain. A nerve impulse is released increasing activity in the stomach, intestines, gallbladder, and liver. Para-Rid contains extracts of the most bitter herbs known to man, along with Green Black Walnut Hulls, Cloves, and Wormwood. The catnip and ginger help to counteract stomach cramping.

TIP from MMH Master Herbalist: Especially if this is your first intestinal cleanse, consider using Family Immune-Booster in the week leading up to your first 6-day round of Para-Rid. Die-off can release toxins into the body and an immune booster may keep the side effects to a minimum.

Ingredients

  • Green Rooibos Tea leaf (Pimpinella anisum) : Rooibos Tea is caffeine-free, low in tannins and rich in antioxidants — which may offer a variety of health benefits, including digestive support, healthy cell support, cardiovascular support, and anti-inflammatory benefits .
  • Quassia bark (Quassia amara) : Quassia bark is one of the best stomach bitters, acting as a digestive aid and intestinal cleanser. It also provides support for healthy liver and gallbladder function.
  • Catnip leaf & flower (Nepeta cataria) : Catnip’s biggest health benefit is the calming effect that it can have on the body. It contains nepetalactone, which is similar to the valepotriates found in a commonly used herbal sedative, valerian. This can improve relaxation, which may support mood and help to manage anxiety, restlessness, and nervousness.
  • Clove bud (Syzygium aromaticum) : Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, cloves have been used as a traditional tonic to support the immune system, a healthy inflammatory response, and aid in digestion. Clove also contains eugenol and caryophyllene, which may help support internal cleansing.
  • Elecampane root (Inula helenium) : The inulin content of this root helps to support immune function and offers soothing support for the respiratory tract. It is astringent and bitter and has been used traditionally to tonify the mucous tissues of the respiratory, G.I. tract, and urinary tract.
  • Fennel seed (Foeniculum vulgare) : Fennel is an aromatic herb that works to support normal digestion. It may be helpful for occasional gas, bloating, and indigestion. It may also have a calming action on smooth muscles, which may be part of the reason for its digestive benefits. Fennel is also used to support a healthy volume and quality of breast milk produced.
  • Gentian root (Gentiana lutea) : Gentian is one of the most bitter of the bitter digestive tonics. It tones the digestive tract while increasing the production of digestive fluids and bile needed for an optimal cleanse and may help to support nutrient absorption. It also provides support for the liver and gallbladder, and has antioxidant benefits to support healthy cells.
  • Ginger root (Zingiber officinale) : Ginger is loaded with nutrients and bioactive compounds that have powerful health benefits, including digestive support, inflammation and antioxidant support, cardiovascular support, and overall healthy cell support.
  • Green Black Walnut hull (Juglans nigra) : The antioxidant and antibacterial compounds in the outer shells, or hulls, of the walnut provide benefecial cleansing support.
  • Olive leaf (Olea europaea) : Olive leaf extract comes from the leaves of an olive plant. It contains an active ingredient called oleuropein, which is thought to have anti-inflammatory benefits and antioxidant properties. Traditional uses include cleansing benefits, immune support, and cardiovascular support.
  • Peppermint Oil (Mentha piperita)
  • Sweet Wormwood herb (Artemisia annua L.)
