How to use essential oil rollers

Essential oil rollers bottles supply blends of oils as through topical application on the skin. We blend the Outlaw Thieves Essential Oil blend with carrier oils to make them safe for topical use on the skin. The carrier oils we offer are coconut oil, almond oil, and hemp seed oil which all have wonderful benefits for your skin.  Essentially, the rollers can be applied anywhere on the skin; however, there are certain points that can provide an even better effect. Below is a quick look at the best places to apply oil rollers on your body.

Apply on the inner wrist

It is a common practice to apply essential oil rollers on the inner wrist. This is one of the most common pulse points that makes absorption of oil into the bloodstream easy. The radial artery runs along the inside of your wrist; making this location one of the best places to apply your roller.

Apply behind ears

Skin behind the ears is lighter and more absorbent than other parts of your skin. This effectively makes it easy for essential oils to find their way into the bloodstream.

Apply on the temples

Temples are pulse points; which means that blood vessels are close to the skin. In this regard, you will find people massaging their temples to soothe a headache or a migraine. Using essential oil rollers on the temples with oils such as lavender, peppermint, frankincense & roman chamomile.

Apply to the bottoms of your feet

Other great application points include the inner elbow, back of the knees, abdomen & around the ankles.

Q & A

Can I choose more than 3 oils? No. At this time we are offering only 3 oil options to keep the integrity of the base.
Can I choose both Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils? Yes, you can choose any combination of both the Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils to add up to 3 oils. You can also choose just 1 or 2 oils.
What is the difference between Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils? Essential oils are a natural product extracted and obtained by distillation and having the characteristic fragrance of the plant from which it is extracted. The essential oil may be found in the roots, stems, leaves, flowers, or fruits of the plant and not all plants produce essential oils. Essential oils are known to have medicinal benefits. Fragrance oils are a mixture of various essential oils,  aroma oils, and aromatic resins. They are carefully formulated and blended to the exact specifications of a perfumer whose goal is to design a specific scent. There are 1000's of ingredients both natural (derived from plants) and synthetic to create a fragrance oil. We do our best to offer plant derived wherever possible. Because our fragrance oils are added at a 1 % dilution the final product with any of our fragrance oils are considered natural. If you have a sensitivity to fragrance oils, I recommend using only Essential Oils in your proprietary blend.
Can I choose just Colloidal Oatmeal and/or Skin Repair with no added oils? Yes
Will the Skin Repair or Colloidal Oatmeal Options change the way the fragrances smell that I've added? Yes. The Original Skin Repair No. 01 has its own scent that will change the way the fragrance smells. It will be a mild undertone of the skin repair. The Colloidal Oatmeal is very mild and will minimally alter the scent and does add an extras smooth almost buttery feel to the cream.
Can I return my custom blend if I don't like it when it arrives? No. When you custom formulate it's yours to keep. I highly recommend starting with the 2 oz. option until you formulate the perfect blend that you love. Then go for the 8 oz. option.
Why is the Wild Custom Blend more expensive? This proprietary option for you is unique and only yours. Each time a customer orders, I personally add just the right oils and botanicals and hand mix each individual container. This takes extra time and effort to customize this formula just for you. We have other options of Hand & Body Creme No. 07 that may work for you and are lower in price.
I'm not sure what to choose. Can you help? Yes. Go to the tabs that describe the Essential Oils or Fragrance Oils. The descriptions will help you decide which oils are best for you. If you have a skin issue, I recommend using Essential Oils only, maybe only one oil or possibly no oils and blending only the skin repair or colloidal oatmeal. On the main description page, there are also tips and ideas to use when custom formulating.
How do I know if I like the scent of the oils listed? Because we are an online store, and our technology doesn't allow for screen sniffing to see which oil you like best, you will not know. It is a risk you take to custom formulate. I've been custom formulating for years now and I've ordered and paid for 100's of mixes from custom formulation houses to try it until we found the perfect ones. I've described the oils to the best of my ability to assist you with your choices. Choose the smaller 2 oz. option to start.
How long does it take for me to get my Wild Custom Blend? I can usually mix and ship within a few days, however, during busier times of the season it may take up to a week.
I've made my order and I can't add it to the cart. Be sure to check all the drop-down menus. If you didn't choose an oil in that menu, you have to be sure and CHOOSE AN OPTION, even if the option is the "NO Choice" or you cannot place an order.
Can I change my options after I place my order? No. Please review your options several times to be sure you have chosen what you want. Once the order is placed and I'm adding oils and mixing and blending your custom blend, it's yours.
Can I order the Wild Custom Blend with nothing added? (I want to add my own oils)  Yes. The price is the same regardless of what you add or don't add. Just choose the appropriate options in the drop-down menus. All the options need to be chosen in order to add to the cart.

What are Fragrance Notes?

Harnessing the Power of a Scent!

Have you ever wondered what top, heart/middle and base notes of a fragrance actually are?

TOP NOTES

The very first notes that you smell when you apply a fragrance are known as its top notes, sometimes called head or opening notes. They create the very important first impression that an individual will have of any particular fragrance because they are what you will smell initially. They are typically the lightest of all the notes used in a fragrance and they will be the first scents to fade away after the fragrance is applied.

MIDDLE NOTES

Middle notes, or heart notes as they are sometimes called, are the scents that become more pronounced immediately after the top notes fade away. The term heart notes are considered to be more appropriate for these middle notes as they are often thought of as being the heart of a fragrance. They will have a very strong influence on the base notes that follow, and they will last for considerably longer than the preceding top notes.

BASE NOTES

When the middle notes of a fragrance begin to fade away is when the base notes will make their appearance. It can take up to 30 minutes after applying a fragrance for you to smell the base notes. Together with the middle notes, they form the main theme of a fragrance. It is the job of the base notes to create a lasting impression of the fragrance on those who smell it. For this reason, it is common for base notes to linger on your skin even hours after the top notes have faded away. Base notes are usually rich, musky, and/or woody.
